The property its old itself and still we decided to give it a shot as the rent was pretty good for a two bedroom apartment ( $350 a week). The first thing that happened to us was that the toilet was broken and unfortunately we moved in on a Friday so we had to put up with it the entire weekend after they fixed it the toilet never stopped leaking water after every flush and we put up with it.

The blinds in the living area were broken and I didn't realize on the inspection day as they had them open, I sent an email to the agency and they said they will not be changed during my tenancy, then again I put up with it.

The stove stooped working 3 times during our tenancy giving us 3 weeks or so of inconvenience till they finally decided to change it.

In general the flat was old so the drawers in the bathroom and kitchen were not in the best condition and the noise in the pipes obviously was there but what made it a terrible experience is when we moved out of the property as the Homefinders Real State charged us $1,200 of our bond for chips on the tiles that were there before, marks in the guest room window frame (which we couldn't make it as the room was used just as a guest room), they charged me for the bad condition of the main bedroom blinds it had some stains which got there because they were old! We do not smoke, we do not have kids, we gave them the regular use but because it happened to us it was a good catch for them as now they can change them with our money.... I was actually ready to pay $300 to $500 of my bond because of some marks that I made in the living room and main room with my furniture bot at the end I ended paying what I thought I saved in rent!!

My only advice with this real estate and this particular unit if any of the new tenants get to read it is to do your full check list carefully and paying attention to each and every single little chip and scratch in the entire unit!!
